WALKER, Mich. — A stretch of northbound US-131 has re-opened after a semi-truck rolled over, blocking several lanes of traffic.
The semi flipped around 2:30 Sunday afternoon on northbound US 131 near I-96 when the driver reportedly drove too fast coming off the on-ramp.
The semi was transporting car parts. It’s unclear if the cargo was seriously damaged.
The semi driver—a middle-aged white man who did not want to identify himself to FOX 17—said he was not injured.
“[I’m] thankful to God to be alive and not hurt anybody,” he said at the scene.
According to Kent County Dispatch, no one was hurt in the accident.
