CALHOUN COUNTY, Mich. — A Battle Creek woman was airlifted to the hospital after rolling her vehicle Friday night.

According to deputies, the accident happened on D. Drive near 24 Mile Road shortly after 6 p.m. The 46-year-old woman was driving westbound on D. Drive when she lost control of her PT Cruiser, police said.

The woman then went into a ditch where she hit a tree. Her care then rolled over, pinning the woman inside.

Firefighters from Albion and Marengo Township helped free her from the wreck. There were two minors in the car at the time of the crash who were uninjured, deputies said.

The woman was treated for multiple non-life threatening injuries.

Deputies said alcohol was not a factor in the crash and that everyone was wearing a seat belt.
