BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A man was arrested after a reported home invasion and assault involving his ex-girlfriend Friday afternoon.
The Battle Creek Police Department said officers located the suspect driving in the area of Lathrop Avenue and Highway Street.
Police said the driver ditched his vehicle and took off along Columbia Avenue before officers caught up with him hiding behind homes along Walnut Court.
He was arrested and is facing charges of home invasion (domestic) and fleeing and eluding as well as an outstanding warrant.
