BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – Several of the 38 guns stolen from a Battle Creek man over the past several months have been recovered.
Battle Creek Police reported Thursday that the guns, many of which were collector’s items, were stolen from the 67-year-old man who had diminished capacity due to a couple of strokes that he had suffered.
Friday afternoon, police say they were contacted by a person who had bought ten of the guns, not knowing they were stolen. After talking to him, police were able to find another person who had another 20 of the guns.
Battle Creek Police say they are still investigating the case. If you have any information, you should call Battle Creek Police or Silent Observer.
