KALAMAZOO, Mich. -A former Kalamazoo County assistant prosecutor has been sentenced for driving drunk.
Paige Timmer was sentenced to 60 days in jail Monday. Her sentence will begin June 1, 2016. She was also sentenced to three years of probation.
Timmer pleaded no contest in August to the charges of operating while intoxicated causing serious injury. She was involved in a crash on March 14 on Stadium Drive near West Lovell Street in Kalamazoo. Both her and the other driver were seriously injured. Timmer was fired from the prosecutor’s office on April 1 after being suspended after the crash.
Timmer was given one-day credit for time served. A status conference will be held on May 6, 2016 to discuss possible jail time reduction.
