WAYNE TOWNSHIP, Mich. — No one was hurt after shots rang out on Monday afternoon. It happened around 4:20 p.m. at a home on Twin Lakes Road in Wayne Township east of Dowagiac.
The Cass County Sheriff’s Office said Roy Clark III, 27, was at his father’s home when he noticed two men pushing his dad’s motorcycle out of their shed. Clark tried to confront the men, but one of them pulled out a small caliber rifle and shot at him. The suspects then ran off in the woods behind the house.
Police said the first suspect was described as a skinny white male, approximately 6 feet 2 inches with short brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a short sleeved camo shirt. The second male subject was described as a short Hispanic male with brown hair and brown eyes having short hair and glasses. He was wearing dark jeans and a red-orange hooded shirt.
Police are still investigating.
