PORTAGE, Mich.– One person was treated for smoke inhalation during a fire at a home Saturday morning.
Dispatchers say the residence was “fully involved” in flames just before 5 AM on the 5100 block of Kibby’s Circle in Portage.
According to dispatchers, Portage Public Safety firefighters and officers arrived on scene to find a 30-year-old male who had escaped the fire.
The man was treated at the scene and said he was unsure if anyone remained inside of the home.
Firefighters were able to put out the fire and didn’t find anyone else inside.
