BROWARD COUNTY, Fla. — A West Michigan man landed his small plane on a Florida highway Thursday.
Scott Allen Richmond, 58, of Comstock Park was flying a 1963 Piper PA-24 Comanche when he was forced to make an emergency landing. The plane struck the top of a 2003 Honda Accord in the westbound lanes of I-595 in the area of Flamingo Road before landing. The driver of the Honda, Daniel Eric Wagner, 64 of Weston Florida, was not hurt.
