GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - In the final hours before the dawn of ArtPrize 7 , the city of Grand Rapids is in a last minute scramble trying to finalize everything before the flood of tourists.

Artists are putting final touches on their work while businesses stock up on last minute supplies. Every business we spoke with has either added extra staff or extra product.  Police are using ArtPrize as a chance to show the Nation what Grand Rapids is all about.  80 artists are being showcased at The B.O.B.  and they've even added an extra wall to fit all the artwork.

Chief David Rahinsky of the Grand Rapids Police said you can guarantee seeing more officers out on patrol.

"You’ll be seeing more officers on foot," said Rahinsky. "You’ll be seeing more officers on bike and for the first time, we’re seeing officers on the two Segways that we purchased specifically for events like this,” said Chief David Rahinsky.
