Two teenagers face charges after allegedly shooting out school bus window

KALAMAZOO, Mich. — Two Kalamazoo teenagers are facing chargers after allegedly shooting out a school bus window with a BB gun.

It happened on Wednesday around 2:30 p.m. in the area of Village Apartments on Lilac Lane in Kalamazoo.

The Kalamazoo Department of  Public Safety said officers discovered a bus window had been broken out, but no staff or students were injured. Police identified a 17-year-old male and 19-year-old male as the suspects. They are expected to face charges of intentionally damaging a school bus, resisting and obstructing justice, as well as discharging a firearm within the city limits.

Authorities continue to investigate and are working closely with Kalamazoo Public Schools.
