West Michigan – We will see some cooler temperatures this weekend but another shot of warm air will take us into Fall. The graphic above shows the upper air pattern for Wednesday, September 23. Fall officially arrives at 4:20 AM on that date. The cooler air has returned into Canada with above average temperatures covering much of the U.S.
The temperature outlook for September 21-25 calls for above average temperatures over all but the northwest. Average highs for Grand Rapids for that period are 69-71° with average lows of 48-50°.
The temperature outlook for September 23-29 calls for above average temperatures over all but the northwest U.S. Average highs for Grand Rapids for that period are 67-70° with average lows of 47-49°.
