Students hold peace march in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Some students stepped out of the classroom Tuesday to promote peace in their south end neighborhood.

Students at the Gerald R. Ford Job Corps Center hosted a neighborhood peace march Tuesday morning.  It was part of a national student-led anti-violence initiative called "Youth to Youth, Partners for Peace."

The purpose is the empower one another and talk about solutions to violence in the community.
