MUSKEGON HEIGHTS, Mich. – Dayvon Malik Davis, 17, has been charged with several felonies after allegedly bringing a sawed-off shotgun into the Muskegon Heights Public School Academy on Wednesday.
Davis was arraigned Thursday afternoon on charges of Firearm Possession by a Felon, Possession of a short-barreled shotgun, Resisting and Obstructing Police, Felony Firearm and being a Habitual Offender.
Davis allegedly entered the building just before noon Sept. 9 after he was let in by a current student who was waiting at the entrance to go home early, the superintendent of Muskegon Heights Public School Academy told FOX 17.
No one was hurt. It’s unclear what the suspect’s intentions were when he entered the school.
