The crash happened happened after 3:00 p.m. at the intersection of 36th Avenue and Baldwin Street in Georgetown Township.

The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Office said the 42-year-old driver of a 2001 Dodge Dakota and the driver of a 2000 Nissan were stopping at the intersection for a red light. That’s when the 16-year-old driver of a 1999 Jeep Cherokee failed to stop and struck the Nissan, which then hit the pick-up. The 17- year-old driver of the Nissan was taken to the hospital for treatment, where they were listed in stable condition.
