Missing woman found in Ionia County

UPDATE (Sunday, 9/6/2015, 11:28 AM) — Ionia County Sheriffs are reporting that Katherine Ogan was found by family members around 10:30 AM Sunday morning. She was found in good condition but was transported to a hospital in Greenville for a physical evaluation as a precaution.

IONIA, Mich.– The Ionia County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a missing woman.

Deputies say 56-year-old Katherine Mary Ogan walked away from her adult foster home Saturday night on Johnson and Belding roads.

Ogan was last seen wearing a dark blue Michigan sweatshirt with the block “M” logo on the front, blue or gray shorts and a red baseball cap.

She is a diabetic, epileptic and suffers from short-term memory loss.

Deputies say she might be in search of her old nursing home.
