GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.– Police say they were able to pull a man to safety who became tired while swimming in the Grand River Saturday morning.
Emergency crews were called to a location near the Blue Bridge just before 2 a.m. where the man was spotted swimming.
A rescue team was able to pull the man out of the water and he was taken to a local hospital.
Alcohol is believed to have been a factor, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.
