GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – A new exhibit coming to the Grand Rapids Public Museum taking a look at Prohibition.
American Spirits: The Rise and Fall of Prohibition opens at the museum on September 26. The exhibit examines what those who wanted the United States to be “dry” hoped to achieve and how the “wets” fought back. Prohibition was in effect from 1920 until 1933.
Admission to the exhibit is included with general admission to the museum.
