Argument results in stabbing in Grand Rapids

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Six to eight people were gathered in an apartment in Grand Rapids when an argument broke out that ended up with two people stabbed, said Grand Rapids Police.

None of the injuries was life-threatening. Both people were taken to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital in downtown Grand Rapids.

The stabbing took place around 5 a.m. in Burton Square Apartments near Burton Street and Kalamazoo Avenue SE.

There have been no arrests and no one has been charged so far. Officers said people who were involved are cooperating with the investigation.

No names were released.
