West Michigan – Temperatures are going to stay well above average as we head into the holiday weekend. Highs will range from the mid 80s to near 90. High dew points will push the Heat Index into the low-mid 90s on some days. Morning lows will range from the mid 60s to around 70.
Chances of rain and thunderstorms remain fairly low. A few isolated thunderstorms are possible on Wednesday. A better chance of thunderstorms exists late Wednesday night into Thursday, but not everybody will see rain. A cold front approaches the Great Lakes on Labor day with the chance of showers and thunderstorms late in the day.
