Deputies investigating Holland Twp. ATM robbery

HOLLAND TWP., Mich. – The Ottawa County Sheriff’s Department is investigating a robbery Monday morning at an ATM.

Deputies were called to the PNC Bank on James Street in Holland Township at about 6:30am.  The 57-year-old victim from Van Buren County told deputies that they were in their car at the ATM when the suspect opened the victim’s passenger door and demanded money.  The male suspect got away with a small amount of cash.

A K-9 unit tracked the suspect 200 yards northwest of the scene to a parking lot just west of US-31.

The suspect is described as a black male in his 20’s, thin, about 5’10” to 6′ tall, wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
