UNION TOWNSHIP, Mich. – Two people are dead and another seriously injured after a crash late Thursday night in Isabella County.
The crash happened shortly before midnight on Airport Road near Summerton Road in Union Township.
Michigan State Police say that two Mt. Pleasant men, aged 20 and 16, were dead when they arrived at the scene in one vehicle. A 27-year-old woman from Mt. Pleasant was trapped in the second vehicle. She was extricated and flown to the hospital by Lifenet.
Police say alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, but did not specify in which vehicle. No names have been released at this time.
