GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Some kids look forward to going back to school, some kids don't. Wherever your kids come down on the question, there is fun to be had at the annual Back to School Celebration put on by the Grand Rapids Public Schools.
The event is scheduled to be at John Ball Park on W. Fulton Street in Grand Rapids Thursday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
A whole slate of family fun is planned, from free food, games, and face painting to live music and arts and crafts.
Booths will have information on special education services, school choices, and other special services GRPS offers.
If your school requires a uniform, uniform providers will be there with uniforms to buy.
