BROOKSVILLE, Fla.– The beer was flowing on Interstate 75 in Florida after a Budweiser truck overturned, spilling most of its cargo.
Florida Highway Patrol says the driver of the truck got distracted by his dog and lost control of the truck, causing it to overturn.
The truck went onto the outside shoulder and the driver overcorrected, crossed the highway and hit the center median guardrail, according to FOX 13 in Tampa Bay.
The inside lane was blocked immediately after the crash, but troopers have since said both lanes are open.
Much of the cargo spilled onto the road, forcing troopers to close the southbound lanes in Hernando County for more than three hours.
Troopers said the driver was cited for careless driving. No one was injured in the crash.
