KENTWOOD, Mich. -- Friends and family gathered Saturday morning at East Kentwood High School for the 3rd Annual David Warsen 5K and Hero Walk. It was put on to honor the life of fallen Navy Seal and Kentwood native, David Warsen. He was killed during a mission when his helicopter was shot down in Afghanistan back in 2012. The event was put on by the David Warsen Legacy Foundation… aimed at honoring the lives of those who’ve made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
