GRAND HAVEN, Mich.-- If you're heading to the lake shore in Grand Haven this weekend, you're invited to check out and participate in Castle Grande.
It offers another opportunity for the community to enjoy sand and sun with the goal of building the tallest and widest sandcastle that Lake Michigan has ever seen, just for the fun of it.
The Chamber of Commerce Grand Haven, Spring Lake, Ferrysburg, has partnered with the Sand Fanatics, a sand sculpting troop that shares a passion for Michigan beaches and sandcastles. The Sand Fanatics invites teams, groups, families and individuals to connect their castles side-by-side along the waterfront to form one continuous castle as wide as possible.
The target completion time is 3:00pm.
