GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- A noted name in Detroit barbecue opens Thursday in the Downtown Market in Grand Rapids. Slow's Bar-B-Q, a national chain based in Detroit, opens at 11 a.m.
While other locations feature service at your table, the Downtown Market location will feature market-style dining where you order at a window and carry your order to picnic style tables.
The Slow's Bar-B-Q menu includes barbecue brisket, ribs, pulled pork, wings, and more. The bar will serve about 40 artisan and craft beers on tap.
The Downtown Market is at 435 Ionia Ave. SW in Grand Rapids.
