The million-dollar winner was sold on August 5, 2014 and the lucky ticket holder had until 4:45 p.m. Wednesday to go to lottery headquarters in Lansing to claim the prize.

The $1 million now goes to the state School Aid Fund.  Mega Millions tickets are valid for one year from the drawing date.
