CrossFit Forest Hills honors our ’31 Heroes’ through a workout to remember

Posted

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – CrossFit Forest Hills dedicates their classes each Sunday to a service member either locally in West Michigan or across the nation.  The first Sunday morning of the month of August was all about honoring the 31 service members who were killed when their helicopter was shot down over Afghanistan on August 6, 2011.

The owners of the CrossFit studio, Ava and Pete, have military backgrounds and say it was a very easy decision to dedicate these events to those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

The family-run CrossFit studio is open seven days a week, and they encourage people of all ages and skill levels to come out and join some classes.

For more information on their class schedule you can visit their website here.
