One man injured in car, motorcycle crash

RONALD TOWNSHIP., Mich. — One man was hospitalized following a car versus motorcycle accident.

Deputies said it happened last night just after 10 on an intersection of North State and Hubbell roads in Ronald Township.

According to to the sheriff’s department, one person blocked off traffic to allow other motorcycles to pass through an intersection without having to stop.

Officials said a Fenwick woman didn’t see the motorcyclists until it was too late. She hit he brakes, which caused her car to a skid and lose control. She then hit one of the bikers.

Deputies said motorcyclist Gary Jacoby of Battle Creek was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.
