BETHESDA, Md. — The Consumer Product Safety Commission has announced the recall of several types of ovens & microwave oven combinations, due to a possible burn hazard. The recall impacts the Michigan-based Whirlpool company.

Whirlpool Jenn-Air Single, Double Wall Ovens and Combination Microwave/Wall Ovens — The extendable roller rack can unexpectedly disengage when fully extended, posing a risk of burns to consumers. About 33,000 units are impacted in the recall. Whirlpool Corporation has received eight reports of incidents, including one report of second degree burn injuries to the arm and back.
