CANNON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — One person was airlifted to the hospital after a crash Thursday afternoon.
It happened around 3:45pm along Sunfish Lake Avenue near Belding Road in Northeast Kent County.
The Kent County Sheriff’s Department said a 17-year-old driver from Rockford lost control along the curves and rolled the vehicle. The driver was ejected and was airlifted to a Grand Rapids hospital for treatment.
Police said the injuries were serious, but the driver was expected to survive.
