West Michigan – The last time we officially hit 90 degrees in Grand Rapids was September 10, 2013. That means as of today, July 27 we are at day 685 without a 90 degree day.
High temperatures today reached the upper 80s in most areas of West Michigan. Muskegon hit 90° and Mt. Pleasant hit 91°. Yesterday, Muskegon hit 90° and that was the first time since July 19, 2013 that they hit 90°.
The forecast for Tuesday calls for highs around 90° to the lower 90s. Winds will be southeast in most of West Michigan, perhaps becoming light west late in the day along the lakeshore.
