OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. — A 24-year-old Fruitport woman is accused of operating while intoxicated after crashing her vehicle into a tree.
The accident occurred after midnight Sunday morning on 144th Avenue north of State Road in Crockery Township.
According to deputies, the driver was traveling at a high rate of speed which caused her to lose control of her vehicle.
The driver was treated at a local hospital with minor injuries.
Authorities say she was arrested after her release from the hospital and now faces arraignment.
