ALAMO TOWNSHIP, Mich. – An Otsego woman was arrested Thursday night for suspected drunk driving after driving into another crash scene.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff reports that at about 6:00pm, a woman turned left into the path of a motorcycle on D Avenue near 12th Street. They collided and the motorcyclist, a 61-year-old Three Rivers man suffered non-life threatening injuries. He was wearing a helmet and alcohol and speed did not appear to be factors in the crash.
While deputies were investigating the crash, a 58-year-old Otsego woman drove around two fire trucks and failed to obey fire fighters at the accident scene. She was found to be under the influence of alcohol and was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving. She was lodged in the Kalamazoo County Jail.
