GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The man who held police at bay at a Cedar Springs mobile home park earlier this week was charged Friday.

Adam Dickinson, 23, was charged with Child Abuse, 3rd degree,  Assault by strangulation, Unlawful imprisonment and two counts of Assaulting a Police Officer in the standoff that started Wednesday evening and ended just after midnight.

Police say they were called to the home on a domestic dispute.  According to police documents, Dickinson fought with a woman in the home and allegedly choked her until she lost consciousness.  She was holding her baby at the time and dropped the baby during the assault.  Police also allege that Dickinson bit the woman on the forehead during the assault.

Dickinson's bond was set at $250,000 during his arraignment Friday.
