CHICAGO, Ill. – You may have noticed gas prices going down, but in some areas of Wyoming and southern Grand Rapids, there appears to be a price war going on.
GasBuddy.com pointed out Thursday morning that some locations in Wyoming are selling gas between $2.09 and $2.17 per gallon. The Grand Rapids average is $2.495 a gallon. GasBuddy.com points out the Family Fare at 28th Street and Burlingame was at $2.09 per gallon and that makes it the second cheapest gas station in the U.S.
There is no word or guarantee that these prices will last long. GasBuddy.com says these stations are selling gas at a loss, so prices will likely go back up.
