GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Grand Rapids Police are investigating an alleged hate crime in the Heartside neighborhood.
Police were called to an apartment in the 300 block of S. Division at about 1:00am, where they found derogatory hand-written comments on the victim's apartment door. The incident also amounts to criminal damage to private property.
