EAST LEROY TOWNSHIP, Mich. — An East Leroy man was killed Wednesday morning after being struck by a semi-truck at M-66 and K Drive S, according to Michigan State Police.
The man, James White, was driving eastbound on K Drive at roughly 7:18 a.m. when he didn’t stop at a stop sign and was hit by a northbound semi-truck, a release from state police says.
White’s vehicle was hauling a boat, and a third vehicle, a Frito Lay truck, hit the boat, police said. No other injuries were reported.
