GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.-- It's a sweet 5K for all ages, with proceeds helping orphaned children find loving, forever homes.
The Team Orphans Cookie 5K Run/Walk is set for Saturday, July 25. It takes place at Robinette's Apple Huas, on 4 Mile and the East Beltline.
The race starts at 8:00 am with hundreds of cookies awaiting participants at the finish line.
The cost is $20 for an individual or $60 for a family. Every dollar raised will go to provide grants to adopting families through various agencies including Bethany Christian Services.
