MARION, Mich. — Michigan State Police say that one of their troopers shot and killed a person Thursday afternoon during a “suspicious situation.”
Police say the trooper from the Mt. Pleasant post was responding to a situation with an “erratic subject in a car on its side” just after 12 p.m. The trooper was not injured.
The incident is being investigated by detectives from Michigan State Police Sixth District Headquarters in Rockford, according to a release.
