(CNN) — Former President George H.W. Bush fell on Wednesday morning while at home in Kennebunkport, Maine, spokesman Jim McGrath told CNN. He has a broken bone in his vertebrae in his neck but “it was not life threatening” McGrath said. He is in a hospital in Portland, Maine, and is very stable. McGrath said he was never disoriented. “We are not expecting a long stay,” McGrath said.
