GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - The week of the Meijer LPGA Classic isn't just about the golf.
The Celebrity Chef Cook-Off will be July 24 at the Grand Rapids Public Museum. The cook-off will feature celebrity chefs Mario Batali and Gail Simmons. Local chefs will also participate. For tickets, go to meijerLPGAclassic.com .
The Meijer LPGA Classic also announced a Celebrity Pro-Am for the week of the upcoming tournament.
The Pro-Am will take place on July 21 at 9:30am at Egypt Valley Country Club on Knapp NE. The event is open to the public. Tickets are available at meijerLPGAclassic.com . The celebrity list includes current and former Detroit Red Wings and other sports stars.
