BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — Two suspects are in custody and a man is recovering in the hospital with critical injuries, following a stabbing early Monday morning.
Police say it all started with a fight over drugs shortly before 3:00 a.m. on Rittenhouse Ave near Meachem Ave in Battle Creek. According to a witness, that fight escalated, and an 18-year-old man was stabbed multiple times. The witness drove the victim to the hospital, and was able to provide suspect information to officers.
After nearly two hours, police were able to arrest the suspects: an 18-year-old male and a 17-year-old female.
The victim was last listed in critical condition.
