TRAVERSE CITY, Mich --
It's been a whirlwind last month for Jeff Blashill. He went from leading the Grand Rapids Griffins on a long playoff run to accepting the head coaching job with the Detroit Red Wings a few days later. This past weekend he and new Griffins coach Todd Nelson were in Traverse City for the Red Wings five-day prospect development camp and both Blashill and Nelson seem to be making a smooth transition into their new roles.
