West Michigan – For most of the area Monday was the warmest day of the season. High temperatures climbed into the mid-upper 80s. Dew points in the 60s resulted in a heat index in the upper 80s to around 90.
A cold front will slide through West Michigan late tonight and early Tuesday with cooler and drier air.
Forecast highs for Tuesday with be in the mid 70s for most of the area. Northwest winds along the lakeshore will keep afternoon highs mainly in the mid-upper 60s.
Not much change in expected for Wednesday with high temperatures inland in the mid 70s. Afternoon highs for the lakeshore will reach around 70°.
