Fight leads to stabbing at gas station

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. –

An altercation broke out between two people at a gas station that lead to one man being stabbed multiple times.

Grand Rapids Police responded at approximately 10:27 p.m. Friday to a stabbing that occurred around the 4200 block of Kalamazoo Avenue at an Admiral gas station.

Police reported that the two subjects arrived in the same car and started fighting shortly after.

One of the subjects pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the torso.

The victim was transported to a local hospital and sustained non-life threatening injuries.

The suspect was arrested and is currently being held with intent to murder.
