LAKEVIEW, Mich. – A 32-year-old Lakeview man is in jail after allegedly texting a 13-year-old girl to meet up with him for “immoral purposes.”
Michigan State Police say the man texted the girl trying to get her to leave her home at night and meet up with him. Police set up a sting to meet the man on a dark, secluded road and the man was met by an undercover female officer and arrested.
Online jail records identify the man as Walter Johnson
The man is expected to be charged with Soliciting a Minor for Immoral Purposes. The Montcalm County Prosecutor may have more charges.
