GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Four juveniles were arrested following attempted bike thefts in downtown Grand Rapids.
The Grand Rapids Police Department said it happened on Wednesday around 2:20 p.m. near Monroe Avenue and Louis NW.
Police said City Safety Ambassadors advised them six teens were cutting locks of bicycles near Campau Square Plaza. When police arrived the teens took off on bikes, but they were able to apprehend four of the teens involved. They’re 13 to 15 years of age, according to a press release.
