MUSKEGON TOWNSHIP, Mich. — The boyfriend of Dominque O’Neal has been arrested in connection with her murder investigation.
Jamari Marquis Williams, 22, is facing a charge of lying to police during the investigation into the pregnant Muskegon Township woman’s death, according to Muskegon County Prosecutor D.J. Hilson.
O’Neal, 21, was found stabbed to death on the morning of June 24 at an apartment in the 700 block of Quail Court. Her unborn child also died.
Williams called 911 at roughly 4:55 a.m. on June 24 and led investigators to O’Neal’s body, police said.
O’Neal was in the Army and also worked as a certified Nursing Assistant at the Lake Woods retirement home in Muskegon, according to her family. She had two other children, a 2-year-old son and a 9-month-old daughter.
At the time of her death, Muskegon Township officials said Williams was considered a person of interest in the case. More details on the lying to police charge are expected after his formal arraignment.
