PORTAGE, Mich. — Theresa Lynne Petto now faces murder charges in connection with last week’s shooting in Portage.

Petto, 43, is accused of shooting 25-year-old Rachel Drafta the morning of June 24 in the 2900 block of French Bay.  Drafta died Saturday.

In addition to the murder charges, Petto is also facing three felony firearms charges and a charge of attempted unlawful imprisonment, according to a release.

Investigators say Petto was angry because Drafta was dating her ex-boyfriend.  Drafta was found in her driveway with a gunshot wound and taken to the hospital.
